How You Can Help Team Chickaroo Fight PLGA

You can help Team Chickaroo fight PLGA by supporting one or more of our Jimmy Fund Events. 

On July 14, 2008 Team Chickaroo will sponsor the First Annual Chickaroo Classic Golf Tournament.  All proceeds will benefit the Low Grade Astrocytoma Research Program at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA.   Not only do we need golfers, but we also need volunteers, lots of sponsors and even items for our drawing.   Click on the EVENTS tab for more information about the Tournament and golf and sponsor forms.

Join Team Chickaroo as a walker or sponsor or our 2nd Annual Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk. For more information, go to the EVENTS tab or click on www.jimmyfundwalk.org/teamchickaroo     ALL proceeds will benefit the Low Grade Astrocytoma Research Program at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA.  (For more information on the LGA Program, go to “Links”).   In 2007 the 79 members of Team Chickaroo raised $49,180.00 for the LGA Program at Dana-Farber.  We hope to exceed that amount in 2008!  

There are many other ways you may help raise funds to support our cause!  How about cleaning your house and having a yard sale to support Team Chickaroo’s Jimmy Fund Walk?  Perhaps you might host a dinner party at your home and “charge” your guests?  Caroline’s cousins have asked for donations to the Jimmy Fund in lieu of birthday presents.  There are so many ways you can help!  We truly appreciate anything you can do to help us help Caroline.  The sky is the limit!

Be sure to check with your employer to determine whether they will match any donation you or your co-workers make. Many companies have donation matching programs in place!
Even if you can’t give money, please help us raise awareness of PLGA and the need for funds.
